Project: Documentary/Social Media Series 

About the Project: Tris4Health, in partnership with PRSU Wellness, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced triathlete residing in Grand Rapids, Michigan, or the surrounding West Michigan area to participate in a documentary series that will chronicle their journey toward competing in the Michigan Titanium triathlon on August 10, 2025. This series will follow the athlete’s training regimen, capturing their physical and mental preparations leading up to race day and parts of their day-to-day routine and personal life to showcase how training for a triathlon can fit around a busy and active lifestyle. 

Role:

    • Triathlete (1 Male and 1 Female):
  • Experience: Must have previously completed a triathlon but be willing to commit to their first longer distance of either the 70.3 half distance or the 140.6 ultra distance triathlon at Michigan Titanium. 
  • Commitment: Willing to dedicate time and effort to the project, including regular training sessions off-camera, training sessions that will be filmed, and interviews. 
  • Personality: Outgoing, engaging personality with a strong work ethic and a compelling personal story. 
  • Race Selection: Will participate in either the Half-Distance or Ultra-Distance Michigan Titanium triathlon. 
  • Social Presence: Is active on social media with an engaging audience and is willing to share their story on the PRSU Wellness and Tris4Health/Michigan Titanium social media channels. 

Responsibilities:

    • Training: Maintain a consistent training schedule in the months leading up to race day.
    • Filming: Participate in regular filming sessions (including training sessions, interviews, and potentially vlogs).
    • Availability: Be available for interviews and filming sessions as scheduled.
    • Openness: Willing to share personal experiences, challenges, and triumphs throughout the training journey. Additionally, they are willing to share personal lives such as home and family.
  • Product Use: In partnership with our sponsor, PRSU Wellness, participants must be willing to use PRSU Wellness products as part of their training regimen. 

Benefits/Incentives:

  • Free Race Registration: PRSU Wellness will provide free race entry to Michigan Titanium.
  • Free Race Kit: PRSU Wellness will provide participants with a custom-branded tri-kit to wear on race day at Michigan Titanium. 
  • Free Wellness Product: PRSU Wellness will provide participants with free wellness products throughout the training period and on race day.
  • Exposure: Your athletic journey will be featured in a documentary series that will be used on the PRSU Wellness and Tris4Health/Michigan Titanium websites and social media channels. 
  • Community Engagement: Connect with other triathletes and the local community.

In addition, please describe your motivation for participating in the Michigan Titanium triathlon and your interest in being part of this documentary series.
